The story
Google's 2026 thank-you to its Google Developer Experts: a custom LEGO® brick building set called 'A Day in the Life of a GDE', with about 231 pieces in its own box and a thank-you card. Built, it's a small diorama of a GDE's life: a white office wall with a large multicolour brick Google G, desks with laptops, developer minifigures, a plant and a stage in Google's four colours for giving talks. Experts around the world posted unboxings and builds through the year, and one called it the most awaited GDE swag ever. Tiers: Crafted.
What stands out
Thank a community by building their world in miniature. A set they assemble themselves turns appreciation into an hour of play and a desk display.
